I just saw DonAndres' post on the Montoya thread...
can't believe Muniesa's contract isn't being renewed. I'm seriously gutted as Muniesa was one of my favorite youth players. He was just about to break into the senior squad and then tore his ACL in a meaningless preseason game.

Crap, other than Bartra we have absolutely no youth CBs coming up (Gomez isn't ready). I can't believe we're letting him go over selling Fontas.
I hope he reaches his potential so we can overpay to get him back. Since we don't have a true trainer/tactician/manager who can incorporate youth like Pep did are we're going to start buying rather than building?

I just think it's pretty stupid that management is letting Muniesa & Abidal leave at the same time. This takes away versatility in our backline as we'll only have speedy/smaller fullbacks with no option of putting a defensive workhorse on the flanks.

Somebody is probably thinking "Muniesa? Abidal? No problem we have Dani & Alba"
