Does this potential transfer excite you??
Well, honestly, Barca and me parted ways in the last few years.
No superstars, no modern football, just some washed up, slow version of Spanish football, which is not my cup of tea.
Players wise, this is the most boring Barca since the 80s, zero superstars, zero players to whom you can relate, zero idols/leaders/posterboys.
When I was a kid, I loved Romario, Koeman, Stoichkov, R9, Rivaldo, Figo, Kluivert, later Ronaldinho, Etoo, Xavi, Puyol, Messi etc.
Today the best and the most likeable players are Pedri and Frenkie who are, personality wise, boring as fuck.
And football wise: miles below aforementioned guys.
Barca fans in the 90s had posters of R9 and Rivaldo.
Barca fans in 2023 have posters of Pedri. I don't mean anything bad, but you get the point how low have we fell quality and "show/celebrity" wise.
Regarding Brozo, he is not a superstar, but at least since he is from my country, Barca will be slightly more interesting to watch (for me) than last 2 seasons where my passion for Barca was at the lowest point ever.
But anyway, longterm, if Barca wants to go back to glory paths, we'll need to buy some superstars and more exciting players for masses/average fans.
Outside of Barca's fans, literally no one cares for Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie etc.
In my country, 10-15 years ago, there were tons of kids walking around with jerseys of mostly Messi.
I haven't seen a kid in my country in the last few years with any other name than Messi's (regarding Barca's shirts).
So, for kids, here Barca is dead. Kids aged 8 or 12 don't watch football for Pedri or Gavi.
They know only Messi, Cr7, Haaland, Mbappe, Modric (since he is from our country).
In 5 years, these kids will be aged 17 and Barca will be totally irrelevant for them, like Seria A clubs for majority of us since they aren't winning any CL trophies and they have zero superstars.
Casual fans love superficial things: WC, CL trophies and fancy names.
Only hardcore fans care about Fede Valverde and Pedri.
