Marco Reus

Yeah, he wouldn't abandon Dortmund mid-season while they are struggling like this, he loves the club too much to jump ship like that. A move in the summer to Madrid is probably what is going to happen.

We don't need him anyway. Neymar is better than both reus and bale. Suarez and messi better than benz and ronaldo most of the time. It is the midfield we seriously lack behind.

I don't think Madrid can afford him

Of course they wouldn't and couldn't admit it before his release clause kicks in, and probably not before it expires. When that is, nobody knows, but if we combine the information from various media, it should be sometime between February and March. That explains why Bild expects Reus to make a decision in March and why Watzke talks of a decision in "4 to 8 weeks". We won't know before then.

That said, no German media says anything about a done deal with RM, the only thing that's being written is that Real are in for him but Reus hasn't made a decision, yet. Would think Bayern are a more reasonable destination from his point of view.

Got this from a Bayern forum. According to Bild Plus(subscription version), Bayern has decided against going for Marco Reus. Main reasons are Pep's opinion about him fitting in, his injuries and the relationship between Bayern and Dortmund.

Here's the source: http://www.bild.de/bild-plus/sport/...555540,var=a,view=conversionToLogin.bild.html

Since when did Bayern care about their relationship with other german clubs, even the biggest rivals? They have always been the big bully in Germany. Wouldnt be suprised if they change their mind and buy him just for the heck of it.

Atletico Madrid have an agreement with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus, it has been revealed.

Speaking with Punto Pelota, journalist Juan Gato, who reports on Atletico daily, claimed the current Spanish champs have a deal in place with Reus.

The Germany international has been linked with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

But Gato says: "Atletico is the only team that has closed an agreement with Marco Reus."

He went onto state that Reus will join Atletico in the summer, unless something unexpected scuppers the deal.
