What do MD and Sport know about Real Madrid's transfer deals?

If this is true, then I lost my respect toward Reus. Not a smart move at all.

Lost respect because he's leaving BvB in a troubled state? There are other rumours that gareth bale could be sold to MU also for a large sum that they're willing to pay so he will get game time.

For both, leaving BVB and joining Real Madrid.

BVB badly needs him right now, as I am afraid his departure will trigger/speed up the disintegration of this current BVB squad. And wanting to join Real Madrid, they are a great team don't get me wrong, but the thought of him joining such a star-studded compilation sustained by piling up money without clear identity and any consistent philosophy disappoints me.

You can't blame him if he feels it's time for him to move on to an even bigger club.

He should not be the reason of BvB survival. If he is, then it's the club that is badly managed.

It's like saying Zlatan would be a traitor to leave PSG now. But if PSG is only relying on Zlatan then the club failed in its management.

I feel the same as Lewa. He gave a lot. I don't feel people have any right to ask him more after all he already gave for the club so far.

You can't compare him to PSG's mercenaries like Cavani that are here for a year and already want to move out.

Yeah, Reus' departure more than anything else speaks to BVB's inability to retain players, which is such a sad reality.

I know many of you will disagree with me, but I felt Reus hasn't given that much to BVB in barely two seasons (14/15 he has been out for too long to be significant), and considering he was a youth product of BVB where he spent 10 years before joining senior teams. Just my opinion.

I understand he wants to move on to greater and greener pastures, and I appreciate him for not joining Bayern (if the 5-year agreement with Real Madrid is true), but still I can't help feeling disappointed and disheartened as a Cule who has a big soft spot for BVB.

Is it just me, or does Reus have horrible luck?

Joins BVB and forms an insane partnership with Gotze - Gotze leaves for Bayern
Joins BVB after they win 2 Bundesligas - Lost in the UCL Finals and haven't won BL since, fighting to avoid relegation now
Carries Germany to the WC - Injured on their very last game, misses the tournament, Germany wins WC because of... surprise surprise, of Gotze

BvB ... the team of Marco's heart, the love that must be fulfilled by playing for his boyhood club ... for 2 years? He's not moving until 1 July according to El Confidencial.

If they get Reus and not sell Bale, Reus will rot on the bench. When you come with a 80m+ pricetag the manager will be under pressure to use you all the time, Reus will suffer from that.

I don't think that will happen. Bale will be in his third year, and madrid fans always care about their new toys.
