Marco Verratti

In real world there is elite players who are head and shoulders above every one else and those ones cost a lot. Those players are in many cases better than signing 3 or 4 other bargain deals
We are the wealthiest club in the world,If Verratti is in the market (HUGE IF) he is worth than the 3 names you mentioned together for us.

No he isnt. The Verratti hype is getting out of hand, people think he'll be some sort of savior. He's a great player but far worse than Xavi at his prime and will never come close to Xavi. And no we dont have this type of money. Wealthiest club in the world? Really? First we need to offload lots of garbage and then we'll see if the transfer budget is reduced or increased after this offloading.

Haha. He is leaving PSG to make less money in Barcelona and to win something. PSG is all about making money and winning French league, which gets old after 2 years.

Lets not forget he's only 24 years of age, and in some aspects he shows he's more dynamic than Xavi. Xavi in my opinion is the greatest central midfielder of all time but Verratti has the potential to become an all time great and Barcelona is the best place for him to achieve that. He is the type of midfielder we've missed desperately, i do think the price tag is ridiculous but that's football these days.

We'll definitely sign a RB even if manage to sign Verratti.

However perhaps it'll be the more reasonable 35-40m for Semedo/Fabinho than 60m on an incredibly flawed player like Bellerin.

This annoys me to no end though.

Fabinho might be close to joining PSG and Man Utd bid 35m for Semedo although Benfica want at least 40m.

Yes guys, not 50m. If you ever followed the prices Benfica/Porto sell at you'll realize that they would accept something close to 35-40m.

Meanwhile we're sitting like lame ducks for Bellerin to ask Wenger for permission to leave.

He's an EPL player which means he'll automatically cost 20m more than his market value.

 Good luck. I get the first offer thing and all that, but a 70M offer is just going to piss off PSG even more.

Edit; Sport's cover. They say 80M.

Here we go again. Aren't you the one who said we don't have the money to buy Pogba and we can only spend 50-60m last summer. Barca spent 123m last summer alone.

This whole saga is just so risky I don't even know where to begin. All it takes is a 1 mood swing from Verratti and this transfer goes to ashes. PSG could very likely convince him to stay and we will look absolutely ridiculous.

Very true.

Better hope we've done our home work and are in sync with him and his agent.

A board member met him a few days ago so he better not change his mind now.

PSG and people might scoff at that 70-80 Million bid. But that's still a lot of money especially for a Midfielder.

Well it tells me (if true) we are still willing to spend that much or even more on a single player if they're worth it.
