Never said we only could spend 50-60m last summer and we didnt have the money to buy Pogba. I was a couple of years too early on what a superstar with massive marketing power would go for, but Higuain went for the same sum and no one believed he would go for that much.

70-80m for Verratti is laughable. PSG is likely to treat such an offer as an insult.

Price is not only about being better, Kroos was sold for only 25m. Brand value and how marketable is the player determines the right price. How much revenue does Verratti generate in comparison to Messi, Neymar, CR7 and Pogba? How influantial is Verratti on the mass and compare it to the likes of Pogba? Pogba is top 5 most marketble player in the world. Verratti don't come close to top 20.

Busquets-Roberto duo and Messi in front of them could work for our midfield but then we'd need a right forward.
