Reading the game is like the most important thing a midfielder can have. Busi is better than Verratti and there's not even a question about it imo. I'd say an in form Verratti is better than an out of form Busi, but that's different.

The only two midfielders who are of Busi's quality in the game atm are Modric and Kroos.

True. Germany and France are good markets. We also have Alena who could be what Asensio is for Madrid atm. You never know the potential of a player until you try him in some low risk games to see how he reacts. Some players click very fast. I would not be surprised if we play Alena in our standard team against some lower side and he has no problem fitting in.

Really? Busquets had his first really shitty season and look what happened. He is one of the best at his position of the last decade. He was so important for Xavi and iniesta to let them play their game.

Verratti is also not used as the defensive midfielder like busquets.
