Why are you shitting on him again? He was literally making runs on the right all game, dragging at least somebody to that side so that Alba + Messi + Dembele could have their fun on the left, I'm 99% sure he never even touched the ball in 2nd half, whoscored says he has 9 passes all game, probably all from first half. Guy is given a task to make runs and never get the ball, he is doing a sad job. I guess I shouldn't be surprised this forum only sees the goal stats of strikers.

because he is starting for fc barcelona, that's why. making runs can only get you so far as a striker. it's the same story as with griezmann, all over again.

ok, he is a victim of poor squad planning because otherwise he would start under 10 games all season. but he can't do a job even against the lower ranked sides in la liga.

Because he is nowhere near the level required to play for Barca. It's not his fault but he is a very limited player.

I really can't understand people who are saying we should stick with him unless we can sign Halland or some other top class no.9. We should sign at least an average No.9. To be fair there are at least 50 strikers who are far better than Martin. This guy played second tier football in England and after that he was loaned to Bordeaux and Leganes. He scored 22 goals in FIVE seasons!!! All of a sudden he is our main solution for no.9 position?!?! In addition to that he is even in charge for penalties when Messi is absent!!! WTF??? This is just embarrassing and sad for a club like Barca.

Yup, that is it summed up in a sentence. Nothing against him seems like a humble guy, but he isn't a player for the top level. Never has been, never will be.

He is constantly making runs as works hard.. but those runs are just random and not the movement of a striker. That is evident in how little he links up, how few touches he has, how few efforts on goal he has.

Poor player being played in a position he doesnt know how to play. Nice guy and works hard but Barca need a CF more than any position on park as soon as possible.

Such bad planning that our backup striker is now our starting striker.... we need a 9 in this transfer window.

Agree. We need No.9 more than anything else. This winter we will probably sign Garcia for free and he will join in summer but we need No.9 in January.

We need a 9 but there's none available. I doubt Depay will do much more than Braithwaite since he is less of a 9 than Martin himself.

Marca saying Koeman want,CB,CM and ST.

E.Garcia,Wijnaldum and Depay could be here.

I know Depay is not ST,but he will be better then Braitwaite
