Winjaldum and Frenkie would be ideal for the 4-2-3-1 that Koeman wants to play.
Both are stamina monsters and can move constantly in making runs in the box, covering defensive ground, and be where they have to be to balance the shape of the team.
If Koeman stays beyond summer, and we get these players, I would fancy a front 6 of wini-frenkie at DCM, Dembouz-Pedri-Fati, and Depay up top.
We could terrorize teams for the first time in year with that front 6

Out of all the 9's on the market currently i would take Maxi Gomez. There are others but we can't afford them e.g. Halaand. Raul Jiminez is an option but he has a bad injury right now and will be 31 in May. We could also take another pass at Willian Jose this window and see what happens.

" tese recent posts. It's like watching some cheap sitcom with audience who clap, cheer or moan, when they are signalled to. We have already discusses in detail why Brait is currently valubable player and certainly better than Griezman in whatever role he's being shoehorned in any given match. None of his 'supporters' here have said he's good for Barca or great CF. NONE! Everyones agrees we need proper quality CF. But arguments why he must play now are reasonable and grounded, based eyes experience and tactical understanding. So why still keep whyning after every match? Is half of this forums having periods?

He is atrocious and cant play CF even at SPL/Championship. Thats his level.

Doesn't matter whether he is valuable, GOAT, WOAT, or anything in the middle.
He's the only 9 we have and the only option there. So he must start. Simple as. His quality is not Barca level, but at least he runs and gives it all. That's all you can ask of him. You cannot ask him to be a better player than he is.

He isnt a 9 at all other than number on his back.
No clue how to play as a striker and is nowhere near a 'decent back up level' even for shitty Champioship/SPL level teams.

So who would you rather have at #9? I dont see you providing a feasible alternative. The french clown with the physicality of a 15 year old girl and one who REFUSES to stick to his position and wants to drop deep? Or would you have Pedri there? I'm confused. There isn't a single other person who plays there.
And Braithwaite isn't all bad - he has decent physicality, he holds up defenders, and in previous games we have seen him have good hold up play for long balls, and he has decent pace. ALSO, and most importantly, he sticks to his position and runs into the box to chase tap ins from square balls.

I would rather Barca sign a 9 in January or just go back to Griezmann as cannot be as bad as Braithwaite if play there every game and told just to try and get inbetween centre backs.
Failing that Fati would be better as well.
Braithwaite is awful and doesnt hold off defenders. He loses the ball far too often, doenst know how to position himself to receive it and is about worst finisher in the team.
Hold his position to find tap in so often he gets 1/2 chances a game when Barca camped in opposition half.
Cant run in behind, cant get chances in box, cant link up and cant finish. Apart from that... he runs a lot.
