I'd rather we sell players than loaning them. Can't remember when was the last time we loaned a player only to get him back and put him in the first team.

Well to be fair our loans of Rafa and Deulofeu are going well.

Well, I assume you didn't read the whole article. I just can't trust newspapers, while they write that Montoya plays as a CB and RB at Barca and use a picture of Pedro instead of him, moreover at the end even Bild writes that this rumour probably isn't true.

Im not really impressed by Montoya..i dont think that he is good enough to be a starting player..it always seems like he is running like a brainless chicken.

He should look for other clubs. He is a very descent player and should get the first team experience elsewhere. As i believe Alvez is going nowhere and is probably going to keep that position for another good 3-5 years. Yes physically that guy is a monster. He can play till 36-39 like many others.

Already wrote this: Don't really care what people say, I stand by my opinion that had Montoya played enough and wasn't somehow expected to be "the next Alves" but was allowed to prioritise his defensive duties (which, you know, fullbacks should do), the team wouldn't have suffered this much (same goes with ignoring Bartra just to please Mascherano/Pique).

I wouldn't mind selling Alves and buying one of Gregory van der Wiel (PSG) or Ricardo van Rhijn (Ajax) and letting them rotate with Montoya (preferably van Rhijn cause van der Wiel will definitely start ahead of Montoya for no apparent reason).
(would also be beneficial cause otherwise Alves might go for free the next season)
