Past like in this years clasico? 2-1, Alves among the best, excellent both in offense and defence. He can still get the job done, not at the level he used to, but still better than most.

But don't worry, the WC is at the door. We'll see how good or bad Alves is in defence.

He is indeed a very good player but everytime I watch the highlights of Wolfsburg games, he only impresses me with his great corners and crosses and regarding this he would be a massive upgrade to Alves but considering the fact that we only have midgets in our team his strongest ability would be very much wasted here.

I have no clue how good he is in the defence.

He was on Whoscored's team of the year. And he's been great in defense whenever I've seen him play. I've only ever seen him play on the left flank though, and I'm not sure how well he'd do at rightback.

He has 9 assists this season too.

Barca's biggest weakpoint is that they are pathetic in transition defense. And this season it has been piss poor. No legs, no pace. Pushing full backs for attack but can't run back in time against a Real Madrid/Atletico like counter. We need to fix this ASAP next season.
