Not so sure about that. Mastour was very impressive in the pre-season with Milan and got loads of talent, been a star in Milan Youth Teams AFAIK. Whether he got the attitude to do very well at the top level remains to be seen.
Whats with misspelling names all the time? You do it deliberately?
On subject, a highlight reel is meant to make even mediocrity look good, they say. I tried watching ScoutNation's compilation of this kid, and I got bored somewhere midway, and closed it. First time, ever. I don't get the fuss. My prediction: neither Halil nor martin will make it very big.
Re: Barca scouts I'm told also tracked Douglas for a while before the club signed him. So they don't really lend credence to any argument.

A loan here, a loan there, some more here and there and he'll be back at Godset having wasted his talent because he chose a club who would rather buy players in heaps than bank on their youth.
The one time we have such a promosing player for us and he might go on to make a stupid choice.

I want him at Ajax, not at Barca. Although with a change looming, I think Barca would be the better choice too.

Our youngsters, bar Thiago (who left because of complicated circumstances), the youth we've had since Busquets/Pedro came through simply haven't been good enough. However, Munir and Sandro have played several games this season. Samper started a CL game against APOEL.

When your club is at the peak (or at least around that time), you dont bring up a whole generation fo youngsters, simple as that.
There are two phases of a club with great youngsters: One when it's in a crisis and desperately needs a new fresh face of a bunch of complete new guys on the scene and theres not too much money (thats what Milan or Inter would need right now) and one when the team is full, when the team is competing for everything and there is no time and space to give youngsters a REAL chance and not jsut some short caps. Thats what Barca and Bayern have right now. You cant bring in youngsters and bench a star worth 40-50m.
All the Lahms, Iniestas, Xavis, Schweinsteigers, Busquets, Müllers, Kroos, Messis they came up at times when there there was not too much competition in the team and it wasnt all that dramatic to bench usual starters for new faces.
Nowadays most teams are traning their youth on loan rather then give them respectable numbers of caps. Integrating Youngsters in top-teams is almost impossible nowadays, the small clubs have to do the education

Fair point, they are not exactly a beacon of reliability afterall...Not to mention,one of the conditions Martin and his father seem to be looking for is playing time at the first team...How would Real ever guarantee that?lol
