Though it seems they can't read German properly again. Sport 1 say that Bayern is in the pole position to sign him.

Hah, you're right, talk about jumping to conclusions.

But truth be told I think it's extremely likely that he'll end up at Bayern, he seems to have a connection with them for some years now visiting and doing trainings, and honestly it's probably the best choice from a sporting point of view as well. RM is not a good choice for his development, and even if Barca would be good for his development, the club is basically on fire right now and will be for the forseeable future, so it can't be very tempting to join this trainwreck right now.

Bayern and Barca are the best options for youngsters who want to join a elite club.

Bayern probably more than Barca at the moment.

Could he even sign a professional contract in Spain at age 16? Wouldn't he have to be 18?

I thought that's the season we lose so many of our young takents to english vultures like Arsenal.

i would have gone to Ajax if i was him but from the potential top-teams he could jon, Bayern is among the 2 or 3 best options, the number of starters who came from the own youth is equal to those of Barca. And he doesnt get wasted, if he wants out at some point then Bayern wont be putting obstacles in his way. He can and will also probably get a loan to a Bundesliga club where he gets his breathrough like Lahm, Kroos or Alaba. The medical stuff around Müller-Wohlfahrt is pretty much the best at any sports team in the world so the risk of picking up threatening injuries isnt too high. It wont be easy and he cant expect to see lots of time on the piutch in the next 3 years, but if he is as good as people say, he can make it with hard work. He should really learn the language, its elementary to know what the coach wants from you, even more important than actually playing good.

As a norwegian who has had both German and Spanish as a third language in school, I can say that learning Spanish was actually easier than learning German, at least for me (and most seemed to agree at the time as well).

But seriously, the club he ends up choosing is not going to be picked based on which language is easier to learn though, this decision is way bigger than that, and all of these languages are easy enough to pick up, it's not like he's having to learn Cantonese or something.
