Martin Odegaard

lol him being norwegian doesn't influence your opinion does it ;)

Not really, I'm trying to be objective in my evaluation of him. I'm not exactly known for hyping Norwegian talents just because they are Norwegian, I'm actually quite lukewarm on many of our other prospects, but Ødegaards talent is just there for anyone to see. I'd be praising him just as much if he were a Swede (and we're bitter rivals, grrrr! :p )

Seeing as he just had his La Liga debut with RM at the age of 16, I'd say me calling him an "incredible talent" seems pretty much on par with the general consensus.

We arent exactly blessed with talented football-players up here, dont think most can imagine how huge this is. Norway is quite simply awful at football, our best players are just about good enough for midtable sides in bundesliga. And here comes this talent, going straight to Real Madrid and makes his debut at 16 years old, its incredible.

hope he gets loaned out, so that he can gain some experience in a better league than the segunda b.

Ciljan is just okay. Nothing special. Dæhli and Ødegaard has a much higher ceiling.

Thats what i said, Ciljan is pretty much our best player outside those two mentioned, and he is just a decent player in a mid-table club. Says alot about Norways position in football. Things are not looking good for Dæhli anyway, after the fiasco in England, his current team is now relegated.

Ah, Skjelbred, you mean. Well, Hertha barely got away this time. Not quite "midtable". ;)

how about loaning him out to rayo? :D afaik, jemez will stay there next season, so they will keep their attack minded style, and martin could profit from that.

Watching Martin at Rayo would be really cool, and a great place for him to develop his vision and passing. Paco is such a badass as well, I'm sure he would toughen him up and make him ready to withstand La Liga opposition.

If he is to be loaned, that's what I would do. Great idea. :)
