Hope Norway continue producing these talents!!

I came to the conclusion that Norway doesn't show many stars BUT when they introduce one, HE/SHE goes to be a real diamond:)

After all is Martin a known talent among average Norwegian?

I hope we keep producing talents like him as well, that'd be awesome. Perhaps we could finally get back into a World Cup again.

And to answer your question on whether or not he's known among the average Norwegian: you bet, he's a superstar over here already.

Good. And honestly i feel Norway Doesn't hype over her stars! Just suppose Martin was a british boy, by now they would call him new maradona!(Not Messi, they don't like him:lol:)

And i hope MC as a chess world champion be more popular in world and especially Europe:blush:

Hurts me when understand most people doesn't know him:lol:

His look and technique sort of reminds me of Will Hughes, who the media at one point couldn't get enough of over here.

"Hønefoss are not in the top division here in Norway, they are in the second devision or "championship" division. So Martin Ødegaards record still stands."

It will surely stand in Real Madrid for a while, cant imagine a norwegian going there for the next decade or two.

Its easy to see that he is on another level techniqually compared to his teammates on the national team, thouh that doesnt say much. But its difficult to function when there is no movement in the team, our strikers are clueless. Ødegaard has to do it all by himself basically.

Ødegaard is our best player on the pitch by a wide margin. Almost got an assist now, very close.

Good game from him so far.

Should've had an assist there as well, after a sublime through-ball.

Søderlund was through, but when he tried to shoot he only hit air... Sigh...
