Kovacic is hugely talented but has not shown the kind of form Pogba has. Right now the frenchman is the better player

All things being equal - do you believe Kovacic is a better player than Pogba?

From what I have seen of them Pogba is quite a bit better but probably not seen as much of both as some on here.

Pogba also plays with Pirlo and co. by his side and overall a better team. Kovačić has been incosistent but Inter are in a dark pit.

Pogba imposes himself directly by dribbling into players or holding onto the ball and attracting players onto him. He uses his strength to fight them off and break away. Kovacic is strong too and has decent height as well, 5'11 or so but he is SO MUCH more mobile than Pogba like Bojan said.

Juventus has a good team too, at a totally different level to Inter.. He does impose himself, in some games more than others, but watching him play on that shit team really shows how much better he is than those around him; you can only do so much.

Both are fantastic young talents but Kovacic is almost perfectly designed for our LM position. Pogba would throw a large curveball into the position.

Maybe you are right but Pogba has just always looked the better player to me.

If Kovacic is good enough for Barca he will have a great career and be wanted by top, top clubs and could well find his way to the Nou Camp later on.

Always thought Pogba looked very mobile other than Real game where didnt look fit.

Interesting to see how they both get on in next few years wherever they end up.

And Pogba is perfectly fit in the LM role .he is almost playing that position with Juve also .he has all the tools minus the exceptional passes .I would take Pogba for 80-85M over Kovacic for 25M any day of the week .A club like Barcelona should always go for the special player even if we had to overpay a little and not settle for the good one .we settle we get Sanchez .we spend big we get Neymar & Suarez
That said if Pogba really goes for 85M or just sold to another club I would be ok with Kovacic .there should be a limit for what we pay as there will be a need for other signings

But we are Barcelona, shouldn't we be looking for players with exceptional passing abilities to play in our midfield? We already have a player like Pogba in Rakitic so i don't know why we are chasing after him
