What about that Aymen Abdennour we were so heavily linked with over the summer? It seems like he's done well this season. He's tall and can cover both lb and cb, and he'd be cheap, so why not?

I don't think Hummels is worth it for this season... He's been injured all season long, and if someone wants to sign him, it's because of his reputation... but he's not showing it this season obviously.

Surely the idea has to be to buy the likes of a Balanta who could be World Class or could end up average adn an established defender too. There are very few world class defenders and I don't think we can get one this year. So an established quality defender and a top prospect would surely be the way to go.
