You need to stop believing everything you read in rags. That we have a deal for Hummels is as true as them saying Silva was coming last year and Milan would give us for cheaper because of the Ibra deal. As if Milan would refuse P$G cash all because we were desperate to get rid of Ibra one summer

Mainly coz Hummels is slow and too similar to Pique. It's a valid point IMO.

I'm not saying he will definitely fail with Pique, I just think a Silva/Pique partnership would be better and would have a higher chance of succeeding.

He'll be 29 roughly a month into the new season so I consider his age as 29. Not sure if it is worth paying 40 million for him then given he can decay very quickly within the next 2 years. Last year would have been the time to get him, now it's too late imo unless he manages to force a move away from PSG and reduce his price tag.
