Matthijs de Ligt

Buying De Ligt is a no-brainer. He is a generational CB talent, with great mental, technical and physical attributes. Perfect successor of Pique, with a possible higher peak, given that he is performing very well at top level football at only 19 years of age.
The problem is that our board has a difficult mission in convincing him to sign for us if Umtiti stays. Another option would be selling Umtiti to fund De Ligt transfer and convince him that he`ll be a starter here, which could also prove to be a mistake if Umtiti regains his form, which is far from impossible.

Pique said he wants to retire at Barca and play for a very long time. He isn't going anywhere.

Sick of Umtiti he's past his peak and will only get worse bring on De Ligt

What does "a very long time" even mean? He`s 32, he has 2 or 3 years left at a level that Barca requires. As a sub maybe even longer, but as an undisputed starter no way.

And why would you be sick of Umtiti? People here talk so much stupid shit it`s unbeliveable.
He was one of the most loved Barca players until he got injured and is now in a process of regaining his form after a long-term injury.

Rofl. So many post, such tiny football brains.

Jair and Marchisio left but left their lovechild behind. Can't wait for you to join them when Ajax is knocked out.

hmm i guess that means Umtiti will be leaving. i heard a rumour Juve wanted him, United also linked. if we can get 60mil+ for him to cover most of De Ligts fee, Barto deserves a damn medal

so hyped for next season. get the treble in the bag, EV stays on 1 more year and we move for ten Hag/Koeman after the Euros

Why 80m? We could pay less if we include a loan deal for Todibo. A year for Todibo in Ajax under ten Hag will be good for him and accelerate his development.

I d take Ten Hag over any coach on the planet at this moment, including Guardiola. If we buy De Light, selling Umtiti is the best possible option for all.
