The best CB quartet anyone has ever had. I sincerely doubt that any team ever had 4 world class defenders the same time. And the best of all is that only one of those 3 is "old".
I will pretend that I didn't see that bit about Alba not being a good wingback.
He's great when he comes with pace from the back. I don't think he'd be very effective without a player in front of him.
He is very criticized here but i remember being here in the chat during Real Madrid - Barça game. The third one on that week, i think.
I was very much impressed by the defensive perfomance and discipline of Barcelona and made them my favorites to win CL due to that factor.
Messi/Suarez can score at any moment and you are just not conceding a lot.
Maybe his playstyle is not enjoyable but if he ends up winning the CL, he would have to be credited, at least for his pragmatism.
In this current market, 80m is a steal with him already being a very good CB.... with the potential to be world-class in a few years. I suspect we'll sell Umtiti for around 60m in the summer.
We may as well get Jose by that reasoning
fat rat isn't his agent though, atleast thats what i've been told?
He is not but since they asked him to help for the transfer, he will ask his share of money, as usual.
maybe this Umtiti news will prompt De Ligt's announcement sooner than expected
