VN10, Ajax and other Dutch members, how credible is Voetbal International?

They are saying City is in the pole position to get him, is that credible?

I dont believe that. They already have many central defenders.

I believe Juventus and QSG are the contenders.

Barca learned from last summer mistake, so now the approach is to buy before selling.

Neymar's deal caused BVB and Liverpool to overprice Dembele and Coutinho.

I'm expecting us to sell a big name(s) in the summer, but secure our targets before that such as FDJ and MD Ligit.

Why pay 90m for De Ligt if you can get Konaté for 20m! According to Leo_Messi, who saw Konaté play once, Konaté is better than De Ligt on every level!

/s off

Are you retarded? Not only are you stupid as a brick but you are inventing nonsense. I never mentioned Konaté's price with a single word or even said that he would be available. Nor that he was better or worse than MDL. Just that he was physically stronger, taller and quicker. Stop wasting my time with such idiotic outbursts. Your initial comments were more than enough stupidity for the day.

Not surprising.

But as for Donny van de Beek, we have linked with him a couple of years ago as Robert liked him a lot. He would probably be a pretty cheap pick up well at least compared to the likes of De Jong, Allan etc.

Says Juve, Bayern, Barça and Man City will fight for De Ligt, who would like to play alongside De Jong. After PSG lost De Jong, they have contacted Overmars & Raiola over De Ligt. PSG's president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has not taken the coup by Barça & Bartomeu well.

Not sure about PSG's CB situation but with Bayern do they really need him?

I mean even if they got rid of Hummels and Boateng they still would have Sule, Pavard and they are chasing Lucas Hernandez as well. That seems like overkill honestly.

This part is a huge assumption. I do not buy it.

For Ligue1 and the occasional CL games, PSG could just go the alternative route and tie up Upamecano/Konate and Ndombele in midfield.

Madrid were smart to avoid the bidding war and get an 50m Militao out the way. If he gives them the longevity of Pepe then they done another great Mendes deal with a fee half of what De Ligt is likely to reach.

Yup, i like Real Madrid business. They are really going value for their money imo. I still don't understand how they scouted Vinicius. He is no world beater yet of course, but to be able to indentify a brazilian that wasn't even 16 and din't even have a pro game and yet to pay that much ! That oozes confidence in their scouting department.

About de Ligt, we were already in for him before the outcome of de Jong case, so nothing new here. Even As or Marca had talked about it some weeks ago.
I don't really see the need of de Ligt unless we are actively purchasing Thiago Silva (35y.o) heir. TS is still in super form and is playing great this year. By far our best defender.
In that context, he could be brought to be the boss of our defence since the other players simply don't have TS class. They are good but they lack that little something. They say that great defenders don't need to tackle because they hav already anticipated the plays and are already in the good position. TS possesses that trait. Kimpembe and Marquinhos and Kehrer are terrible when they have to cover space behind them.

First of all, you start with for L1, PSG could just blablabla. No. PSG wants to win CL, so they will always go for the best opportunities out there if possible.
Also, French clubs are very harsh when talking transfers with PSG. They simply prefer to sell to a lower level english club than to PSG or they'll ask a very big bonus (+50%). That is why PSG often buys from abroad. Then, Aulas will cry because PSG don't share his wealth with french clubs by buying their players but won't sell us Ndombélé.
In the DM case, we had agreed everything with Fabinho but Monaco asked us 65 M instead of the 40/45 M asking price for other clubs.
About Upamecano, there is another great french CB prospect in that league : Zagadou. Actually a PSG academy player, he was rated our biggest CB talent ever produced in our youth sides. Unfortunately, he preferred going to Dortmund (for free) while we had promised him the vacant 4th CB spot. We wouldn't even have to search for a CB right now.
When i think about it, we lost more than 100 M € value with Coman, Rabiot and Zagadou, all leaving for free. It is a Dembele fee.
That leaves us to chase young promising CB abroad and then de Ligt. With de Jong coming here, i would have been very sure we could bag him as well. Now ? Not a fucking chance. He will want Barça, 100% sure.

Btw, i think it is pretty evident the PSG direction must have been very unhappy about de Jong outcome, however don"t believe those articles talking about revenge. Those are bullshit. As if PSG will go pay a release clause for a player that is not worth it ? If they had so much money to waste they would have increased their offers to Ajax and de Jong in the first place. PSG will only pay what it can afford to in de Ligt case, irrespective of Barça. If we didn't go higher than 75 M for de Jong who was a prime target as a defensive midfield, we won't go higher for sure for CB that is luxury option.
