A random thought: when Rabiot has asked for similar things, everyone here talked bad about him and his cancerous mother.
And: we don't want him anywhere near our club.

When De Light is doing the same, replies are: let's hope that we will sign him in the end.

Btw. this guy is asking higher wages than Rabiot and De Jong.
Plus, Rabiot was coming for free.

De Ligt asked for a promised playing time.
When Rabiot did the same, he was a spoiled brat.

Fun times.

Maybe because De Ligt is an amazing talent while Rabiot is...not actually that amazing? Also this is about Raiola who is a known asshole and imo De Ligt shouldn't work with him but De Ligt himself never showed unprofessional behavior himself and mommy Rabiot won't leave while Raiola might not stay after the transfer (he isn't De Ligts real agent after all).

If you ask me it's quite telling that Rabiot still hasn't found a club when he didn't even have to focus on anything else since December.

England is trending up right now in terms of destination for big players

The top coaches, the salaries etc.

With Messi getting older and the usual shit show from Valgreen in Europe, how will we look in the next 2 years.

If you're a guy like Van der sar or Overmars do you advise De ligt to choose City, Barca or Liverpool. ?

I am not sure if England is trending up for players. City has Guardiola, money and a plan; Liverpool has definitely been on the rise in the past couple of years, the English NT is doing well but these aside, the English clubs are still lagging behind Real Madrid and us in terms of allure and salaries offered. Ronaldo is gone and Messi is getting old but us and Real Madrid are still tier 1 clubs ahead of those English clubs. It is a fact that we offer the highest salaries in the industry and that alone attracts players like magnet does.

Barca every time.

It's the whole package. Prestige, top club, great city, biggest rivalry with Madrid, biggest stadium, biggest collection of greats that have played here etc.

DeLigt is in love with Frenkie and both state Messi is Da Best so why not be at barca for a few years as long Messi is there...

lol everything is agreed with De Ligt and Ajax, the negotiation left is with his agent.

That will be resolved soon enough.

He will be Barca.

De Jong clearly is a Barca fan and he idolizes Messi. That played a huge part in his decision to join us.

De Ligt, not so much. He might think Messi is the best like most people do but there is no indication that he is a Barca fan. De Jong might be his best friend (which is an advantage for us) but he does not need to follow his best friend around when he is making a professional, a career decision.

I still think we have the upper hand over other clubs but this is far, far from over.

Didn't your sources in Catalunya say he would be ours in a few days? Or they said we would find out by the end of the summer like De Ligt personally said? ;)

When did he say that?

My sources in the Catalan region have told me that we will know his destination within these two weeks (Either this week or next week).

He apparently said it after Ajax won the Dutch league title yesterday.

He didn't say he was going to transfer at the summer.

He just said "We'll see where I end up by the end of summer"...It's just him being ambiguous.

My sources are very reliable, along the lines of Oriol Domenech, who btw said 3 days ago that the deal being finalized and it will only be a MATTER OF DAYS before he is a Barca player.
