What do you mean by 'that bad'?
He isnt saying that they are bad just dont get consistent performances with youngsters which is true and repeated often but with Koeman it is 'blaming them'.
And the funny thing is that the youngsters are mostly the best performers

While he has been hauling off early Griezmann, Coutinho, Busi and Lenglet at times.
He is not blaming the youngsters just stating they are not as consistent which is 100% true for just about every youngster ever. Consistency improves as mature.

So most seniors are shit but he didn't say anything about it, while when he was asked why Barca is struggling he called out the youngsters. lol
Those youngsters even if few of them are inconsistent but they are way better than the seniors.

There is nothing about blaming youngsters by saying they are inconsistent in some ways it is protecting them by trying to temper expectations and calmness when their levels drop a bit at times as is to be expected.
Koeman is putting trust in them on the park and is also regularly subbing off early the seniors.
Trying to hard to read between the lines of that comment.

Protect them from who? They weren't attacked by any media outlet. More questions about Griezmann, Coutinho and Busquets etc. If anything, he is protecting the seniors by blaming the youngsters

Same as why managers often say about young players being inconsistent. Has zero to do with blaming them but a true statement and tempering expectations of them being at top level week in week out and team performance as a result.
By far and away the most praised players by Koeman have been Pedri, Dest, Araujo etc much more than the seniors who he is not scared of at all and often takes off early or drops.
As said either ignorant to how it works or trying too hard.

Yes he said that is part of reason strugglingto find consitsency and he is right... he is trusting those young players more than seniors as across board better but with that comes dips. Even within games can see it.
He praises those players individually more than any other group and puts a lot of trust in them... that comes with highs and lows.
To try and make out he is blaming them is ignorance of what is being said.
You do realise saying inconsistent can mean brilliant one minute and level dipping the next... he is not saying they are shit or blaming them as he picks them.
