Amazing cameo and once again showed he is absolute class. This guy could be a definite starter at clubs like arsenal, PSG, and maybe even City. He is throwing away his career here.

Yeah, he will bench De Bruyne for sure.

Great game today, very unfortunate for him that Pedri and DJ are there as the interiors. Hope he gets game time in the Copa games.

George claimed that in 2017 Barca were fucked for years and Real would clean up for forseeable future.

Takes anyone who argued against that at time as in love with EV when the argument was more in line with EV doing well from situation he was left in and old squad.

Textbook Georgie shitposting and deflection as he thinks he was right a few years later when EV sacked.

Puig is his latest flavour of month. Has argued like this in past that coaches had agendas when it came to Mine, Semedo, Malcolm, Samper, Alena etc.

Normal business.

Don't know but consider he called Puig's performances with U21 Spain are amazing is just pure biased. Even bashed a random Youtuber who made videos about Puig's all touch performance just because Puig played badly in the video which is reality.

I hate such a narrative when you have to name specific games just to prove your point but OK.

Many forum members were absolutely furious because Alena couldn't get minutes under Valverde. Unfortunately Valverde was absolutely right on Alena and story with Koeman and Puig will probably end in the same way.

Such a bullshit post, but can’t say I’m surprised when I take a look at who wrote it.

By the way under Valverde, people weren’t even furious because Alena PARTICULARLY wouldn’t start, they were mad because Valverde would start without thinking his 2 favorite donkeys Rakitic and Vidal. Unfortunately, Valverde was absolutely wrong to start those 2 clowns who are getting bashed at second tier clubs like Sevilla and Inter right now, their fans actually hate them, especially Sevilla fans who went from biggest Rakitic fans (their last memory of him was that EL victory in 2014) to his biggest haters in a few weeks, cause the guy is that bad on the pitch. And that’s also why we hated him here, but you genius would act like a blind man, with your usual "good game" comment after each mediocre performance from your hero.

So no relax pal, nothing proves Valverde was right regarding Alena back then. Even though he’s not that great, Alena did deserve to play a lot more when his competition was piss poor Rakitic and Vidal. Now that his competition is FDJ, Pedri, Puig and Pjanic, it’s normal that he doesn’t get lots of playing time at Barca, so the loan was the right thing to do.

Interiors? Coutinho and Griezman also play as "interiors" and Puig is better than both. He could easily fill for both AM and CM positions just like Pedri, even tough they both are inclined to attack.
Agree, there is no comparision because now Pedri is clearly superior.
Lolno. Noting clear about this at all. Pedri has gotten humongous playing time due to the fact he's Cowmans favorite boy so he had ample time to show off his abilities. Puig has barely played and whenever he did he almost always impressed. Including the 20 minutes he got against Granada now. We should be glad to have two such talented young lads.

Except Cowman don't even know who is in his team and who is still registered in Barca B.

Wtf is that ?
How can a so called Barca fan hate on Koeman who’s the first coach that’s doing great work in this club since Lucho?
Thanks to Koeman, this team plays the way Barca should play for the first time since 2016, while starting many many youngsters every game. Also good to remember that the man you’re bashing is an absolute club legend, the one who scored the most important goal of the history of this club.

Yet you are here bashing him every day, just because he won’t start ONE freaking player you like ? So you prefer one player over the right functioning of the club you support ? I seriously doubt you’re a Barca fan, right now you look much more like a Riqui fanboy more than anything.

And I actually like Puig a lot too, but Koeman is doing some great work, and it’s way harder to find a good manager for a club like Barcelona than it is to find a midfield talent.

Weren?t you a big fan of Puig and the end of last season? What happened?

Spend time to rewatch his matches last season then realise that it is not as good as i thought. Guess first impression is big factor.

Now Pedri is clearly superior, not only individual play but also link up with players like Messi, De Jong.

Alena proved nothing at first team.

Hope he will success at Getafe though i have serious doubt.

You guys are pathetic with that Koeman bashing. You deserve nothing more than shit coaches like Valverde and Setien.
You just show that you don’t know shit about this club and its philosophy with such comments.

No shit pal ! Did I ever mention that Alena proved big things in this club ? Did you even read ?

And somehow he could bench Rakitic/Vidal.

Rakitic, Vidal passed their best but still better than Alena. At least with Rakitic - Vidal you won 1-0 at Bernabeu in 2019 Clasico, can not say same thing with Alena.

If Koeman would be first in la liga, nobody would say anything about the Puig-drama even though it would be a strange act from Koeman but no, we are far away from the title so of course barca fans are furious if we dont play with our best players and Puig is one of them.

Puig may better than current Coutinho who is finished btw but no way he is better than Griezmann.

And of course it is clear that now Pedri is better, by large margin. Puig is more energetic but only a sub option for Pedri when the match is pretty over. Not sure how much you can develop from this position compare to go on loan to play fas starter.

Koeman made it very clear from start.
