This is his first 45 minutes since february or something, and in the last month he played 5 minutes total before this. Surely you must realise it's harsh to judge him as if he's match fit.

I've said Pedri shouldn't start/Puig should be given a chance in his place for multiple games now.

His positional sense is awful.

Constantly buzzing about leaving holes in midifeld.

Moves a lot and moves the ball quickly but a lot of folk are sucked in by how much influence that has on the game.

Not his fault though, league was fucked by other but he would have made next to no difference to the problems in this team.

I prefer his style to Pedris, but even without style, I don't think anyone can claim Pedri had a better half than Puig this game?

It's difficult for the likes of him, Trincao, Pjanic etc as they are have barely featured at all last few months. Does move the ball quickly but yeah positionally needs major work when defending.
