Yeah performed about equal in my eyes. Puig has a nicer style in some ways, quicker and passes first time more, Pedri looks more graceful on the ball though.

I very much liked the combination with Busquets midpitch, sequence starting 0:44. Just that he's asking to recieve it at the start there is a big plus.

Pedri put the good ball to Messi in the box but he miscontrols it. That is alone bigger offensive than anything from Puig.

Care to explain how he is better than Gundogan again???

Still prefer him more than pedri though. Ball moves alot smoother and quicker/driving ball into spaces, utilising his surroundings. hasnt played much minutes so far though, could work on his vision and composure at times but nothing that cant be improved in the long run.

What long run? He is 23 and his game is more or less what you see is what what you get .. Pedri on the other hand is 5 years younger

He's 21, I think they both have traits the other could do with. Pedri is levels about Puig in positional sense and pressing effectively. Puig moves the ball faster and more capable at one touch give and go.

Turning 22 this summer, I though he was a year older good to know but still 4 years difference is a lot between the two players

Pedri is better dribbler, passer, goalscorer, defending ability... Plus 3 years younger. Simply far better.

Puig is only older and more agile.

They are not even comparable.

I don't see the "bad positional sense" at all
He is quick to spot opportunities to press, he won some balls today both directly and indirectly.
Going forward to press has always been the sign of a good Barcelona team...
I can see him in 6 months being hyped as key for Barcelona pressing higher again.
