Arsenal consider signing left back Maxwell (30), although it seems difficult to sign him on short-term deal which is what they want. [metro]
I would send him to London + 500k pounds as a gift

Mino Raiola (agent Maxwell): "There's a big chance he'll leave this monrh. Barça knows about it, it's no secret." #fcblive [rac1]

The asking price for Brazilian left back defender Maxwell (30) would be 2M. [le parisien]

It's not like he's adding more than Fontás to the team, so I say sell, sell, sell and promote some canterano...

Don't know about that. He has a lot of experience. Abidal is 32 and had a serious surgery last year and Adriano is extremely injury prone. Don't know how I would feel if we had to play the likes of Muniesa or Fontas in the CL knockout rounds or in a Clasico. Considering the fact good leftbacks are very rare these days, Maxwell as a third choice leftback (after Abi and Adriano) is the best possible option in my opinion. We'll never get Philipp Lahm quality sitting on the bench.

If Abidal and Adriano were to be injured/unavailable, Puyol could take care of that position and Masch would take the CB... Sure, it is not ideal but would be more reliable than Maxwell...

Remember we have won our last two CL titles with a DM playing as CB...

they should keep him untill summer then sell him .. last year we had a major problem at LB with Abi's surgery .. Adriano's and Maxwell's injuries .. Puyol played LB in the clasicos of CL .. he's good .. but Puyol isn't getting younger .. he's 33 and not in his best shape yet ..

Maxwell isn't the type of players that makes any trouble in the locker room .. he knows he's 3rd choice and he's happy with it ..
