I'm not against players who kiss their new club's badges. If he really is a true fans of that clubs since his childhood, why not? But I don't want to do that at the time of my first presentation at barca (daydreaming again... ). I surely kiss that badge if i score against bitter rival or in a trilling CL match.

I think this is a nice pick up, not bad money and hes a decent player. I agree with alot of what you guys are saying about him being a good complement to Abidal.

Im not a big fan of a player kissing his new club's badge on his first day at the club. The last time it was Pleb and we all know how tht turned out
I hate it tbh, unless they're lifelong fans of the club it doesn't mean a thing and is just an empty gesture.

I have to agree that it has a bad connotation all over it, but on the other hand there could also be a lasting affection for the club and as I've understood, Maxwell did admit that he rated Barça as the top club which plays the best football. It would just show that he might respect the badge, be privileged and proud to wear it. Who knows.
