Nice skill @ 1:44. Watching clips of a legit CB for a culé is like catching a glimpse of an Oasis in the desert.

This! Im so sick of watching Barca´s CBs, none of them is the complete package you need today. One is too slow, one is too small, one is too young, one is too old... Benatia got it all! And he was bought for peanuts last summer, now look at him. A fucking warrior, tall, strong, fairly fast, can dribble, can pass, can score goals, ruthless tackles... but heck why would we want a CB that hasnt even played in the premier league, right??

German newspaper ''kicker'' reports that AS Rom would let Benatia go for a transfer fee of around 25m. Bayern would be the clear favourite to sign him since Zubi doesn't even know him. Would be so much pissed if Bayern grabbed him and he bossed the complete defence while we end up with Luiz.

Unless he has such a clause in his contract there's no way he is sold for 25m

Some of you guys need to understand that the world doesn't revolve around Barcelona. I see time and time again people in here throwing hissy fits whenever a club that happens not be us, signs a star player that we could've used in our squad.
Of course Zubi knows Benatia, claiming anything else is ridiculous. But if if went down to picking either us or Bayern, the choice would probably be tough. We're a club in turmoil and they have what some would call the most exciting manager in world football. They'd also easily match our wages and chance for titles, so unless the said player has some sort of relationship to Barcelona, it could go either way.

...and that's if we're talking just us and Bayern. In Benatia's case, we'll probably have to add at least 3-4 other top clubs to the equation.

He sure is a very good defender, but this clip doesn't really show that. Like many other videos, it just shows some defending and a whole lot of attacking and scoring, unfortunately. Would have loved to see more defending.

Bayern is not on the level of Barca, there is Barca and Madrid at the top then everybody else. All the top players would chose one of the big 2 Spanish clubs if given the chance. If its between Barca and Bayern then Benetia will come here as 99% of non Germans would.

Playing for Bayern has its merits. But the city of Barcelona and the star appeal of the top 2 gives us a slight edge. LL is still the home to football's crème de la crème and multiple EU and WC winners. Regardless of a player profile, playing in a team graced by possibly football's GOAT is a rare opportunity to pass up, I would think. And our need for acute defensive reinforcements is common knowledge. So any high-profile defender if communicated well, should reciprocate in kind.

I'm hoping Lucho remembers Benatia from his time in Italy (and that he still follows his former club). He can just be the impetus needed to start our Benatia offensive.

You show extreme bias and cluelessness in all your posts. Bayern not at Barca level? Get off your high horse. We are a club in crisis. Bayern are extremely successful, well run and don't have all the BS politics ruining us.

Barca are along with Madrid the biggest club in the world in terms of prestige. If we come calling a player would pick us over the others.

There is lots of politics involved at Bayern and already this season there have been murmerings about Peps style from those within the club and legends etc.

While their president has this season been jailed for tax evasion.

Although to suggest any player just picks Barca or Madrid is wrong and many players have turned them down.

Thank you, that mentality is exactly what's regressing the team. The so called legends of the team think the youngster aren't good enough. Well Thaigo.
