Memphis Depay

He's been misused too much as the lone striker this season. I'd like to see how he does with a run of games off the left with an actual striker ahead of him. Especially against teams that sit deep, he is a good option in that role.

Called it. Not a great game, but a great goal.

There's no indispensable attacker right now, and thus none should be treated as such.

We didn't look any worse, or any better for that matter with Depay on the left instead of Ferran. Xavi needn't be so rigid with his 11.

Cause that's not Ferrans natural position and we looked shit as soon as he was subbed

What's Ferrans best position? RW? Because if so, we have to make a key decision to replace Dembele with either a top class RW or a top class LW and move Ferran to the right.

Not given up on Ferran though, clearly a very good player who is struggling with the pressure he is placing on himself from missing too many chances he knows he should be scoring. If it goes on for too long it may eat him up and he could flop like countless other players, but for now he is safe and I hope he gets it together next season.

Just saying that this season, we can rotate Depay on the left more when Ferran isn't firing. Same goes with Dembele on the right with Adama, as apart from the run where the whole team was on, Dembele has also been average alot.

Actually not a bad player, but one or two levels below top level. A big fish in a small pond type of player. Would do very well for teams competing for CL spots.

butchered many chances and possessions before barely finishing the tap in and assist.

Luis Suarez before he became completely washed up.

Not to bring down the tone too much in here...

but for this guys size/build/muscle mass (which he clearly visibly takes pride in), he is the biggest fucking pussy I've ever seen on a field just short of CR7.

All he does is bounce off defenders and fall and look at the referee, jesus christ the man drives me insane.

He's still more clinical than Ferran though.
