They both have had time. They played a bit last year and featured a lot this year due to injuries. They got more consistent time than Roberto ever did.
They are both just stinking the place up. They have been bad, very bad. Roberto showed glimpses, so did Rafinhs...so did Thiago before then. Even Bojan and Jeffren, even Tello showed glimpses. Munir and Sandro have been dreadful, consistently...and no I don't care if Sandro scored goals against a shit lower tier team.
Just not good enough. At this point give some minutes to Hallolovic and he can't do any worse.
You know, I'm not really sure what you say is actually really true.
Munir impressed a lot during the previous pre-season and in the beginning of 2014-15 season.
Sandro also did well in USA tour in this summer.
It's obvious they possess quality.
Roberto has played first team football for us in the last six season (three season as a fully first teamer).
Munir and Sandro only played first team football for us for only two season (this season were they promoted to first team).
So no, the amount of time weren't really the the same.
Also, Roberto actually had a fair chance to become a starter when Fabregas was a flop, Xavi being old.
Sandro and Munir will
never become a starter regardless how well they perform.
Again, the circumstances were different.
And to say Roberto "showed glimpses" isn't right at all, how's that possible when he did square passes too often as an example?
Actually, he was usually a liability for us most of the time tihem and Roberto was criticized harshly in Barcaforum, just like Munir & Sandro are today.
After years of disappointment, Roberto finally showed why he's actually qualities.
I'm really happy it ended well for him and it's a lesson why some should take easy with their critics with our youngsters.
