Munir El Haddadi

Dongou did the same thing, as did assulin

its not a unique thing in barca

Dongou barely impressed at the B team if at all whereas Munir came in and immediately started out-performing him. It's not JUST his resumé, it's his in-game abilities that make him more deadly and a superior player. He's a much better dribbler and has a much more wicked shot + more instinctive finishing. You can't compare Dongou to Munir just because he scored a few tap-ins in the last preseason, somehow creating the illusion that both are at the same level. Munir makes an impression, has an actual influence and identity as a player. Dongou is pedestrian.

Deulofeu is senior to Munir but the latter has shown some immense abilities and his transition to the senior level looks a hell of a lot smoother than Deulo's. Miles ahead would imply that Deulo is vastly more developed or farther along as a prospect but in reality he is still all potential. Deulo is better, but nowhere near miles ahead.

again dougou also got a few games with the b team while in the U19 and impressed.

dongou did more than just score a few tap ins last pre season, he was impressive.

Munir playing a few good friendlies means all of zero at this moment, he is doing nothing special that players before him as not done.

He is a talented player and still needs time to develop, the fact that he is playing better than delou in pre-season again, means nothing.

kool down the hype, munir games naturally suits barca's game more than delou.

delou is a much more counter acting player, and not a true tiki take type player, he will need to work on that to make it at barca, but if he doesn't. I will bet my life he will be one of the best players out there at a different club.

You should take your own advice.

Miles ahead? He didn't show that so far. Munir had a better pre season, showed more understanding of the system than Deulo.

Agree. Deulo looks like he'd be better off on a different type of team. Munir looks like we'll be seeing him on the field some for the first team at least until the Big 3 can fully take over in late October.

accomplished, he is much more ready to play at the highest level and have a impact, than munir is
I disagree, Deulofeu still makes stupid decisions and his attitude is questionable, I wouldn't have loaned him out tbh but Lucho thinks otherwise

Munir is not as good as Deulofeu at the moment but he has a much better work rate, better decision making, better understanding of Barca's play etc.

I actually agree with this.

Munir fits the team like a glove atm. Deulofeu has his heart in the team but it's clear he's too used to being better than everyone around him. Even when he was at Everton it wasn't like his teammates were of a higher quality than him, they just had more experience.

Hope that this guy will at least be on the bench for the game against Elche and play some minutes in the second half.
I have high expectations. He works hard, is very talented (and he's from Morocco :p)

Munir will likely see so many minutes this season, because we've only Messi,Suarez,Pedro and Neymar as first team forwards. The season is long, there will be fatigue and injuries, although we're not praying for that.

That's an interesting part too indeed, could be very useful too for our marketability in North-Africa.

Barca is already by far* the most supported club in the Middle East & North Africa.

*well, only slightly ahead of Real/ManU to be fair.

True, but for example, unfortunately, you got the biggest penya madridista in the world in Morocco (Casablanca most precisely).
And concerning the young lad, he didn't choose yet if he'll play for Spain or Morocco (just like Hachim Mastour, the young talent from AC Milan).

I have been twice in Morocco and I must say that they are real football-freaks. Almost everyone is wearing a Barcelona/real Madrid shirt. I believe that if Munir (and Mastour) choose to play for Morocco, Barcelonas popularity will reach a high level.

Btw: beautiful country ;)

He was born in Madrid and plays for Spain's u19. If he manages to break out and Spain don't have a totally solid front line within the next few years then he'll choose our NT. He's got a very good chance with Jese's injury, Deulofeu's possible loan in limbo, and Costa's general lack of form for the NT.
