If Lucho keeps playing him I wont be surprised to see him make the jump to first team next year, i'm sure he can make the Olympics and maybe even the euros (Do those two clash?). He has a coach that fully believes in him, he has to take this chance because you never know what can happen.

Different dates for the two. Alba played in both in 2012.

I see Munir playing in the first team this year, Lucho seems to have a lot of trust in him and we have only 4 first team forwards across three competitions.

yeah I see him playing in some games as well, Luis likes him and the coach favouring you is one of the most important thing is a young players development.

Lucho 'politically dodged' a question during the press conference about Munir being preferred over Deulofeu by answering vaguely and then going off on a tangent to talk about the entire squad but he did specifically say that he was happy with what the B team players did. Hope to see him in the Gamper match.

Munir is a different type of player than Deulo. Can't be compared that way. Don't think Deulo would have stayed even if we didn't have Munir if Lucho thought he was better off getting regular playing time at some other club on loan.

My impression has been that Lucho is sending Gerard a message about work ethic, that specifically Adama & Munir were trying harder on both ends...Of course, I think most of us would agree that the B team players have all played very well in preseason

Deulofeu really has to improve on his attitude and work rate, I've seen so many players who were incredibly talented, but never took their game to the next level because of poor attitude and work rate, for example Quaresma,Nani,Ben Harfa.

I doubt there's a debate about Deulofeu's talent, everyone knows he is a special player...It's always been about his head, myself I've been a big critic of his for years now...I just question whether this is the right approach again for the player, just because Lucho is taking the responsibility for it doesn't mean it's the ultimately the best decision - just makes it his

On a side note, Tony, I think it's a gross exaggeration to lump Quaresma or the others with him...Deulofeu is a bit of a douche but he's our douche and he's a goalscorer...I think the only question is how great will he become due to that ego of his because he will undoubtedly be a success in football...he just might not end up doing it for Barcelona, in the end
