Seriously??

Alfredo Duro revealed Real Madrid sacked some employees involved with their youth development after they failed to bring Munir to the club.

Don't know how reliable though.

Messi is the odd one out. I agree with barcanuck, we should be careful. But Munir seems down to earth and humble enough to not get carried away.

He's the one who should be careful. Shouldn't let the hype get to him.

A lot of exciting youth players never make it at Barca. Remember the hype around Deulofeu not that long ago? Now it's looking more and more like he won't make it. Right now, it looks like Munir is guaranteed to make it, but I won't be that surprised if he doesn't.

Nothing suggest that Deulofeu will not make it. Yes, he has been loaned out for the second time, but it is for his best. He will now play regulary and improve under Unai Emery if he follows what he tells him.

He seemed guaranteed to make it about a year and a half ago. Now it's far from a guarantee.

No one is guaranteed to make it. Even Munir is not guaranteed to make it. A lot can happen in a few years. What these kids need to do is keep working hard and have their feet well planted on the ground.

If Deulofeu keep working hard and does well then he'll be back next year. If Munir gets complacent then he'll be gone.

Your attitude and mentality plays a big role in which direction your career goes. Talent alone won't make it.

Seems strange, but Deulofeu is only like 1.5 years older than Munir. He's still massively young and has plenty of time to prove himself. It's true his opportunities are dwindling because of competition and he has to start to take things seriously lest his window passes him by, but he is still just 20 years old.

One great season at Sevilla showing growth and maturity, and he's right back in the mix.

A lot of people seem to be forgetting how Deulofeu was THE best player in the Segunda Division at the age of 18, one year younger than Munir right now (he turns 19 on Monday).

Well if he was kept in the Segunda he would not be staying with Barcelona.

A club would have came in and offered him first team and he would be gone.

He should play all Copa del Rey games. Champions league games against weak teams and if qualification from the group stage is achieved.

He will also get some la liga games.

He needs to play.

I don't seem to remember you guys being this ecstatic about Deulofeu. He didn't even get a solid chance with the first team.

Apparently some Real Madrid employees were sacked because they were not able to bring Munir to the club.

:xavi:

Makes sense, the kid is born in a Madrid suburb and played for Rayo Majadahonda in Madrid then choosing to move to La Masia. Real have their scouts all over Madrid and they should have some heads rolling for not catching this kid before we did.
