We really need him to succes. The club can't afford to spend yet again on a RB. At the start of the season he was performing at a high level against Juventus and Real but today he was completely outperformed. His performances the last matches haven't been good. This is not completely on Valverde, Semedo needs to sort out his confidence issues. It will probably help with Dembele back and a Rakitic replacement.

Even allowing for that Semedos positiong was shit, players were going by him and he did fuck all going forward.

Vidal was far better and more confident on the ball and was not as bad when they were running at him and he is a poor RB.
