Was supposed to have a sick assist but will continue to be a no imagination rightback that cannot create just because Suarez didn't finish today.

Good game by Semedo, and very good development for the team. EV gave him another chance in a high pressure match and made the strongest case yet he can be the big game starting RB.

WTF, some of you are easily pleased. He's utter garbage, whenever he gets the ball he looks to always pass it backwards, he shits himself in the final third. Jordi Alba put in a Samedo performance last night actually, hence fuck all was created.

A player who shits himself in the final third doesn't play that pass to Suárez. Hard not to pass it backwards when there is no one to combine with. Wait for Dembélé playing on the right wing again and watch Semedo thriving in the final third.

Semedo did very well, exactly what we should expect from him, he's the right back version of Abidal. If we play with him and Dembele from the start I'm confident we'll destroy Manchester at Camp Nou.

I thought he was extremely conservative, but right after he played a nice ball to Suarez. Great defensively as it usually is the case.

I know we criticize our players a lot, but really, we have 2 of the best 10 RBs in the world. No joke.

As for Semedo's game, I liked 3 things.

1) His passing was very on-point in pressure situations. Like, he was pressed near the sideline, and put the ball in the middle several times. You need some balls to do that, because we're talking 30m. passes from wide inside. If that pass is not controlled and precise, it's a big problem.

Those passes don't work all the time for him. Today he felt the ball better.

2) Was very solid defensively, except the cases where he was caught up field (usually due to a fuck-up in build up by Busi or Rakitic). You could see that United players knew his strenght in 1 vs 1, because they didn't try too much, and were happy to put in crosses from far wide without challenging Semedo. He has pace, and is strong. Hard opponent to beat in individual duels, without some great technical skills.

3) He didn't attack a lot, but he actually played a couple of interesting balls, one of which was a near assist. Didn't attack a lot, but didn't waste his few chances either.

Why the fuck that Semedo needs a Dembele to excel? His performance was just OK. MU barely attack, crosses here and there nothing dangerous.
