I am becoming a fan of this guy. His work ethic is immense. His speed and the way he carries the ball to the front three. Hope he instills more confidence in his fellow players and becomes more involved.

Defensively he's not to bad either. I mean sure we still have to see him against stronger teams but he held his own well in the CL last season with Benfica. Alves is one of a kind but Semedo can be that elite replacement we needed since he left.

I'm so glad we ended up buying him over Bellerin.

That was the first impression I got after watching him in the preseason. They even look alike.
