Nelson Semedo

He's great, improved alot on crossing, runs, linkups, and overall a better RB. An absolute engine up and down the flanks If Puig finished that last chance, it will do more justice for his performance.

Arthur, Puig, Semedo, Miranda all impressed. Were really good.

He really needs to improve his final ball.

The way he is playing he has most of what is needed and could be one of best RBs in world but his final ball is terrible too often.

His ability to produce in the final third will be decisive this season. He improves it and he beats Roberto and probably will turn into one of the top RBs in the world, he fails to deliver and he will be on the market next summer
He is showing glimpses this preseason

Exactly, and it was the same last year. Of the limited times he made forward runs, most of his final balls were either not received or were misdirected or were directed at goal.

He needs to calm down a bit imo. He just rushes while making that final choice, needs to learn a bit from Alves or Marcelo.

He was great in the first half against Milan, that was a superb offensive performance. He has the ability to break players down 1-on-1 offensively which is rare for a RB/LB and his ability to provide solutions in tight spaces will be crucial for us going forward. I have high hopes for Semedo this season, he's due for a breakout.

Would be pretty bad for his development and consciousness when he gets benched again for no reason after playing a couple of pretty good games.

Judging by the looks of Semedo in pre-season pictures, he still looks disconnected from the squad and not very confident at all. He has improved, and if it were up to me he'd be undisputed starter, but it's EVs team and I think he'll go with Bob as starter. Maybe EV knows something about Semedo's personality or has said some stuff that just hasn't sat well with the jefe.

Nah. He's more aloof and chill. Laid back.
