He played poorly but was not given the ball early or in any decent areas.

Would be the main player in just about any other team in world and must be frustrating when lose like that and not be given as much chance to influence game as could elsewhere.

Not that he should be really as Messi played well and is the main man on merit but the team is too one dimensional in always looking to go through him.
