I think it'll be a deal like that.
The best place for Neymar to stay is Barca. He can never be a leader, he's too immature, and when he's expected to deliver everything by himself, I can see him struggling more.
He's not going to deliver Messi or Cristiano like performances.
Considering our desperation with Verratti, if Neymar agree a deal with PSG, they might offer Verratti + cash.
His buyout will increase to 250m next year I think? Would take Verratti + 130m.
Is it crazy? Yeah, but that's the only way PSG can make it happen and something I'd think would be an okay deal for Barca.
This is getting FIFA and Football Manager like now and sounding crazy, but for that, I'd sign both Mbappe and Dembele.

I honestly can't imagine a scenario where Barça let's Nerman go willingly - not even for Verratti. His worth to the club is simply too great, both on and off the field.

It depends on him and his father. I don't think they'll keep him against his will, if he tries to make it way out.
Neymar Sr can never be trusted so I don't think it's unlikely that it'll happen.
If PSG are willing to pay the release clause I would rather just do Verratti + 120m in cash for Neymar. Would pretty much balance out to the same value. With that buy Dembele and play him on the LW, after all he is two footed.

I love Neymar, but I think Barcelona could use him to rebuild.
Explosive players like Neymar, Torres, Kaka usually have a prime at around 23-26 years of age.
This is a World Cup year, and South American players usually play with a foot on the breaks to not risk any injuries and missing out on the World Cup. So I think he will half ass his 25-26 year old season. If he wins the WC I think he will take the foot off the pedal even more. And he will be 27. Which is when you start losing your explosiveness.
Right now is the highest price we can get for him. Neymar can allow us to buy Verratti, Dembele, Alex Sandro.

Sport does a lot of bullshiting these days. Someone in here says we should use Rakitic or Gomes for a trade with Verratti, Sport makes a story out of it. They are just bored because today's press conference was really boring.
I don't agree that his only way out of Messi's shadow is to leave. If you look at the BD'Or winners you'll see that the Spanish league is perfect to win the BD'Or. The last winner that came from EPL was Owen in EPL. Before? Just from La Liga and Serie A. Oh sry, I missed out the year before CR joined Real. However, I believe it is much easier to play with Messi than without him. If Neymar joins another team for a record breaking team he has to carry Mount Everest on his shoulders. Next year is very important for Neymar. If he plays well for Barça and we'll win at least La Liga his chances are big to win the BD'Or. Brazil has a great team this time and he is their leader. The chances that Brazil make it to the final are quite good from where we stand.

He's been labelled the heir to Messi and Ronaldo since he joined Barca and has failed to live up to that billing or even come close to it. He has had his share of great stretches, but inconsistent is his middle name. Yet the media still loves to call him a "young" player who is on the rise, he has been on the "rise" for 4 years now. When in reality he is probably past his peak at age 25 (note I said peak not prime) and is not capable or carrying a club like Barca.
Our best chance of rebuilding this squad on the fly and giving it a chance to win a few more major trophies in the Messi era is to sell Neymar for a massive fee north of 200m and buy 2-3 world class players.
