Neymar Jr. - v5

He's potentially leaving at the worst possible time out of the blue.

That's the problem here.
Yeah I don't like how this is happening like right now, when he never gave that intention of leaving earlier on this summer. It's like his dad decided to do this shit at the worst possible time.

Like come on dudes at least give us a heads up sooner.

Makes no sense really. He signed an extension recently, his "idol" Messi too. PSG really is a step down. As a club and the league.

Would be nice of him to dispell the rumors with one single word or tweet but that's too much to ask isn't it for a media whore like him.

Right after Messi signed a new deal. It's like Neymar's father was waiting for this to make his move.

It makes sense if he at this stage in his career if he is thinking about being the main man at a club and see what he can lead them to.

Is obviously a step down in league an club but more money in and leading a team that with him is as set as any to be a CL challenger in coming years must be appealing.

Personally think the best thing is for him to take that chance and not stay in Messis shadow, test himself and see what he can do with his team.

Are you going to start supporting PSG when he jumps ship too?

And what about Barca?

It's fine for Neymar to want to go and do his own thing, but like this? He's leaving us with barely any notice and virtually no time to compensate for the upcoming season.

If he wants to go that's fine, but at least do it in a manner that wouldn't screw over all the people who work for the club that gave him so much over the years.

Th best thing for Barca is for him to stay and I would love for him to stay as rate him massively but for him as an individual and his career think probably is best that he leaves and takes the gamble to test himself as main man and top european team built round him.

To be honest, i wouldn't mind that much if he does end up leaving. Has never been my favourite type of player. He's always been a 'clown' (on and off the pitch) and in my mind kinda representing all the bad that started with this Board, where our club became a shadow (also on AND off the pitch - even participating in criminal activities and what not) of what it was in the Pep era, where every player and Board member knew where his place was, and they formed into a beautiful club, working and playing together in sync while destroying every opponent on the way. Ronaldinho was similar (joga bonito mind set) and could be quite troublesome at times, but at least he (when focused and motivated) really was a magician, one of a kind, who was able to carry the whole team and step up in the most important matches, be a true decider. I haven't seen that from Neymar on a club level yet, and i don't think i ever will. Might just end up like Ronaldinho, who was never the same again after leaving Barca.

Especially if it helps bring down Bartomeu&co before next year. Hopefully they won't spend or pocket all the money until then. Time for Dembele, stat! He'd be the perfect replacement, for half the price. While with the other half we could finally get a world class CM to finally start fixing our midfield as well. BUT with this Board, you never know, we could end up spending 100 mil on Paulinho and RVP.

So key is, bring down this Board until next season, i would even trade seeing Deulofeu play starting lineup LW for a season to see that, although it's clear that if we really do end up selling Neymar, we have to go for Dembele this summer when he's still affordable and at a club and point of his career where he's still a step down from the very best. Next season (after another great season from him probably) crazy rich PL clubs might jump in and after that we don't stand a chance of getting him anymore.

Why not go to a team like Man Utd then?

PSG is a team people in the Football World couldn't care less about.

In any case, leaving like this now is shitty no matter how people twist it around. He's leaving while letting everyone down, not giving the club time to find replacements for him.

Absolutely shitty by Neymar.
