Neymar Jr. - v5

Hazard, Coutinho or Dembele and a midfielder like Thiago Alcantara and we'll have a better team.

By the way, can't wait for us to meet PSG in the C1 and kick them out again... gonna be fun.

These types of transfers take lengthy negotiations and even starting the negotiation process is tough. We would have 1.5 months and chances of any club selling their star players to us without having the opportunity to reinforce themselves is very unlikely.

Signing him at the end of August will be the ultimate "Fuck You" to Barca from PSG. Why the hell would you put a release clause so low?

We had a lot of great players play for us and left their mark here and moved on, Neymar will be no different in that regard. What comes next if/after he leaves is up to the board not to fuck it up when using the funds we get from PSG.

It doesn't mean spending 220 Million on the likes of Paulinho etc.

Even Barto's mouthpiece MD are warming up to the idea he could leave for 222m.

He's gone.

It is going to be far harder to spend that 220m to improve or even maintain the team than a lot of folk are making out.

I would love to see what is going on in those Barca offices right now.

Barto must feel the noose tightening around his neck. This will be the nail in the coffin for him.

Well in case he does leave for 222 mil , which i doubt in the first place , we are totally fucked . No way in hell the board will get better replacements for him . They will probably end up buying 7 paulinhos with all the money and call it a successfull transfer.

Wouldn't really be the first time. MD Last summer with the rumors they were rubbing their hands with the money we could spend on alternatives.

incoming MD/Sport fuckery in covers.

Well apparently Paulinho and Lucas Lima were Neymar's request

The names being brought up will be nowhere near as easy to bring in as people think and coming to play LW in a system where expected to give up a lot for other players might not be as appealing as is made out.

Do we really need to do a like for like replacement?

Why not tweak the system and focus on Messi and Suarez as our front men

Front 3 isn't the only way to play

We really are fucked either way.

Neymar stays and if he does hes getting a new improved contract thus putting more strain on our wage structure, this is partly why we can't afford top bracket players anymore. we also probably have to sign his bum buddys from brazil in Paulinho and Lima to keep him and papa happy.

Neymar leaves and MSN is no more. Suarez was dogshit at times last season and hes getting older. he also looks nowhere near the player he was at liverpool so unless we invest wisely in midfield, Messi will have to do it all on his own again.

i was optimistic about this when i first heard the news and thinking about all that money to spend but Barto will be spending that 222m and that is fucking scary  especially considering the player were loosing, Dembele is an absolute must THIS summer. if we wait until after the WC we will be priced out by PL clubs.

Neymar transfer to Barcelona took down Sandro Rosell and now his transfer to PSG might take Bartomeu down.

Benedito and Laporta might push for the motion of censure sooner. If they succeed (and they could this time) then I would call Neymar a hero!

Sport says PSG wants to negotiate. They are going to use Neymar to put pressure on Barca board. I'm having very hard time to believe, this is going to happen.

two problems with this
1)everyone will know we'll have that 220 cash in hand so douglases will be 65 mil.
2)im pretty sure we'll land none of those players mentioned as it will be suicide for their clubs.
