Sure, it's possible.

But we all know Neymar Sr isn't one to turn down a big fat payday even if it meant shaking hands with Satan himself. He's also an authoritative figure in Neymar's life, which is a big problem for any club dealing with Neymar because the guy is driven by greed.

Agents shouldn't be authoritative of the players they represent because it let's them incentivize their wants more than the players.

Bullying PSG and trying to hijack their players??? Come on, what have we done illegally? Did we break any rules by showing interests in their players? We didn't go around P$G making contacts and asking their players for a mutiny or refusals to train etc., did we?

If not, there was nothing wrong with us showing interests in their players.

I trust Pique here. I doubt he would consider posting this without Neymar legit saying those words to him. This isn't some Journalist claiming to have some inside info that Neymar saying he would stay, this Gerard fucking Pique announcing it on Social Media to millions of people.

Heck I expect the club to remain silent on all this. things will keep going as usual to them and when they ask Barto or the others on it, they will state "he wasn't for sale and leaving this summer" and be on their merry way.

Neymar will eventually post something I reckon but he's probably laying low for a little bit before doing so.

Well, PSG did not break any rules by making offer to Neymar, but it feels pretty shitty, doesn't it? The normal procedure is to talk with the club first and go for the player. What we did we unsettled Verratti and he might leave PSG and not even come to Barca. PSG did the same thing to us. RM did that in case of Modric but we were doing this on repetitive basis to PSG year in year out. This is their way of saying stop fooling around, we will not take this anymore.

My guess is: negotiations are not going well. Barca want more money. Neymar is not too concerned and is happy to stay if negotiations don't go well.

You guys realise he is pretty much staying now right? not sure why you think he's not.

Multiple reasons-

1-dad talked last night to board.. apparently didint go well
2-MD said they talked again today and Sanllehi was there again to do his thing.
3-Pique posts the picture with Neymar after the chats with club. ( Pique would of only done this if he was 100% sure he was staying)

He will be getting a new contract, I am almost sure of it and a new wage/bonus added to him for his new contract. His dad will likely take a chunk out of our transfer budge this season so don't like forward to any special signings now. Just hope the board manage to make his release clause higher this time, something like Messi's 500M would stop this happening again.

FFS, a deal is a deal, but if Neyboy has one of his mood swings and decides to jet off to Paris within this windows that's all subject to change.

What exactly did we did to Verratti other than expressing our interests in getting him? Did we actually talk to his agent?
