Neymar is an extremely valuable asset to lose. Being valuable is different from being priceless. 222M euros conforms with the contract that Barca signed. PSG and Neymar are within their legal rights, though UEFA Fair Play might bite PSG.

Nearly 30 deadbeats like Paulinho and Di Maria aren't the way forward. I wouldn't spend daft money on Dybala either who looks like the new Aguero.

I think it could be a good idea to focus on midfielders whose contract situation make us less vulnerable to extortionate pricing with close to 300m to spend. Doesnt Seri have a 40m release clause? Leon Goretzka has a year left on his contract. Should be available for 25m. 6 caps for Germany in 2017, versatile, would add strength and power to the midfield and only 22 years old.

What they need to do is sell shit like Arda, Vermaelen, Gomes and Douglas, make a good midfield with 1 or 2 signings, replace Neymar with a good player and buy one or two substitutes for defense and the left side.
