If Messi is gonna play in the middle, we could use both of them. Also Mbappe can replace Suarez when time comes. Our only WC attackers are 30+ and will sooner or later have to be replaced, so we actually have absolutely nothing to loose. Neymoney + some of our budget can fund both of them. Jusy go for it.

For other contracts has often been paid across the contract unless the player is sold without asking to leave.
Surely to fuck Barca would have put it in the contract that exercising the buy out clause cancels remainder of signing on fee due.
