Neymar Jr. - v5

Any young player who wants to become a ballon dor and aspire to fulfil their potential is very likely to fail with Messi in the team.
So far this has proven to be a fact.

The plays always goes through Messi. He chooses the outcome of what is most likely to be the end result.

Poor Neymar is always stuck on the left lol. Messi is given free role. Watch what happens to him at PSG. He will play just like he does with Brazil.

Messi is our best player, of course the team should be made so he can unlock his full potential, the problem is...the team has been mediocre these past years and it has been Messi who finds a way to win the matches, whether it's a goal or a pass that ends in a goal. This has been on the benefit both Neymar and Suarez, if not for Messi, do you think we could have won half the matches we won thanks to Ney?

Dani Alves said that it was the "easy way" to stay in Barcelona, but that the world belonged to the brave...what's more brave than trying to win the leadership of a team where Messi is the main star? I repeat, Messi is 30 years old, give it a year or two and Neymar would have become the main star, i'm 100% sure of it.

so one question?since he will personally pay his buyout or release clause and not psg, does that mean he will not officially become most expensive player ever?

Barto doing the Lords work :worthy: It's hard for Neymar to go after that money because of all the bad publicity + years of court battles & being called greedy thief (rightfully so), I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't collect the money, his father may want it tho  Maybe Barca & Ney settle for 10-20% of the sum or something like that.

Gerard Romero: PSG already asked permission to make presentation of Neymar on the plate of the Trocadero... Another confirmation...

Best part about it is a guy who wears a 100% Jesus headband is going to be the face of the most corrupt world cup in history that has been built on the foundations of severe human rights violations in a nation that is widely accredited with funding terrorism on a global scale.

They could turn this transfer into a hollywood movie.

the Qatar bubble will burst sooner or later, the amount of evil he's associating himself with now is incredibly foolish. no way in hell will a WC be hosted there, players will probably boycott it, there will be so many protests.

Qatar will probably hire Islamic terrorists to pressure major FIFA members to keep it in Qatar. Evil will find it's way

Ain't gonna happen. Where were the protests against the World Cup held in Brazil?

The crazy part is that he's doing himself a massive disservice . It's no big deal being the main player in a good team in a mediocre league ... There's a chance he won't get anywhere near as much space to work or as much possession of the ball and he won't get any passes like the ones he gets from Messi :)

It's unlikely PSG will be more successful in Europe and he may not look anything like as good a player in PSG's set up .

The only bonus is joining up and having a jolly with his compatriots Alves and Thiago Silva and the others BUT they are end of the careers and they've won everything there was to win .... It's all very confusing as the motives for the change - after all how much money does he need ??

I actually believe that he will regret throwing away the chance to keep playing football with two other footballing geniuses - the three gelled together better than any other front three I've seen in the last 40 years !

Barcelona fans in this forum looks so certain of the future. I firmly believe Barcelona can do well or even better if they can sign a great pure winger. But I also believe Neymar will play better with more freedom to do his thing. I never thought Neymar/Barcelona would be a great match for eachother. With Alves and lots of plays starting on right it worked, because he'd get the ball near the goal a lot. But without Alves and with 80% of the plays starting with Neymar/Iniesta, it was obvious he wouldn't just tiki-taka for 90 minutes. So I feel you guys will forget about him really fast. He wont be missed, but I also feel PSG fans will love him and I firmly believe they gonna reach multiple CL finals. Not sure if he's gonna win because of the coach and their captain being a fucking choker.

Anyways, you can't blame him for thinking he got the talent to succeed as the man of his team. He succeeded in Santos doing this when he was 17-20 alongside with terrible teammates and he succeeded in the NT also with much weaker teammates than one could hope for the Brazilian NT.At the age of 25 he already won national titles in Brazil and Spain, the only countries where he played so far. Won a continentals titles in the Americas and in Europe, the only two continents he played so far. He too won FIFA's Club World Cup. He also won the Confederations Cup humiliating in the finals the greatest Spanish team ever, which was basically barcelona without Messi. He also took home the only thophy Brazil lacked in the association. The Olympic Gold Medal. He only lacks the World Cup, where he's unbeaten.

You can't blame a guy with such a legacy at the age of 25 for having the mere confidence he can lead his team, or can you?

The amount of money this guy is set to make, you'd think he wouldn't even sweat over the 26 million, especially after the trouble we went through to get him in the first place. And then when you consider the yearly contract renewals and moneys to his father, how could you not believe his only concern is money?

Lol that Spanish team they played against were having a holiday there, they didn't care about confederations cup  He hasn't won anything major for Brazil and probably won't either, choked in Copa America and got injured in World Cup.

20% as he was only here for one year of the 5 years renewal he signed. This would be logical IMO. But of course everything depends on what stands in his contract for when and under which circumstances those bonuses will be paid.

No one is talking about his time in Santos, and no one in the future will talk about his time in PSG. I never heard anyone talks about Ronaldinho's time in PSG or Ronaldo who spent more forgotten years in PSV than Barcelona. Neymar will never be included into the greats bracket once he join PSG.
