Haha the Ney-lovers don't want to align with reality it seems. Neymar has had you all as fools this whole time and still has you singing his praises.
You don't think it's indicative that he tried to chill at Barca till August 1st to collect his "loyalty bonus" (convenient choice of words
) before he dipped to collect more and more bonuses from PSG? You don't think that the ONLY interests that Ney has had in mind throughout this whole process are his self-interests?
He hasn't said a single word since this saga began, to the media and apparently to Barca either. He's got Pique and Iniesta and everyone else running around trying to stick up for him and put out his media fire to calm things down, without explaining his own intentions and actions like a man. Current Barca players and legends have all come out publicly to say that Neymar should make his intentions clear and resolve the situation with the club so as not to damage/hurt them but it's pretty obvious he doesn't give a flying fuck about what they say. He's said absolutely nothing and hasn't owned up to his actions; instead nonchalantly chilling around from place to place with a smile and letting everyone else suffer for his sake while letting his daddy run around in the background securing his transfer and his new funds. He's created a colossal mess and then tried to grab the last bonus and run out the back door, and will have some sham goodbye message of "blah blah thanks FC Barcelona for all the money!! err... memories!!" and be on his way. Hasn't shown that he truly gives a damn about the interests of the club even once, and every report suggests that he's basically done everything possible to make the situation worse for Barca.
To spell it out very plainly, here is the hierarchy of Neymar's interests:
1. Dat money
2. Brazilian buddies
3. Power and freedom
He'll get them all at PSG. An endless flow of cash with Alves, Moura, Silva, Marquinhos, etc. already there and whoever else Ney tells them to sign. You'll see the "Lucas Lima to PSG" rumors soon enough. On top of that, he gets all the free reign to attempt as many dribbles as he wants and play a game of 'Neymar and 10 lackies' to maximize his usage as he sees fit. He'll be the Westbrook of their team, all about his individual glory.
