UEFA and FIFA rules don't stand above spanish law. He says it's against spanish law. Not sure if it's true but that means FIFA or UEFA are not involved.

They are talking about a total cost, for his total contract (4-5 years?). Not in 1 year.
Only an idiot can belive that is against spanish law.

Tebas can say what he wants.

LeParisien, who's c close media to the club said that PSG contacted both UEFA, and FIFA, and both said Tebas is wrong.

Up to you to choose who to trust, but I think I prefer UEFA, and FIFA here.

UEFA don't have jurisdiction over LFP rugulations enforced by the Spanish government.

If there is laws in place that could argue against accepting the money then the matter will be taken to courts. But that would take too much time.

I personally don't believe Tebas has a winning case here but I think he is doing this as a matter of putting massive pressure on UEFA to not only sanction PSG for FFP breach but also to make sure these types of a deals never happen again.

I read Tebas' last statement in Marca today, and while I'm not an expert in spanish's law, he blocks it till "he knows where the money is from", but so far I read no one else stating that spanish law explicitely says that he can block it because of that.

I'll be frank, I don't care who's right or wrong. We're in early august still, and have the time to make a wonderfull transfer window thanks to the 222M that PSG is paying. And I don't want to wait 3 weeks or to keep a player that doesn't want to play here anymore.

And I personally believe it doesn't help Barca much if they force us to keep Neymar since he apparently wants to cut all ties he has with us.

Especially since there's still the chance to make a great mercato.

Anyways, I'm done with that. I finally turned the neymar's page, so I am not bothered anymore that the rat, and rat Sr want to leave.

Frankly, this can be a real valid point seen from Spanish law.
Neymar has been the subject of (shady) tax deals in Brazil and Spain, possible he is still under some kind of attention / investigation. If he has to explain where he gets €222M from, it's completely within the law to ask for proof.

If you travel with €100K you also have to declare where the money is coming from.

Apparently LFP have a right to not accept release clause buyouts.

What the terms of those conditions are, I'm not sure, but this is the grounds that Tebas is taking to reject the money.

Di Marzio says Tebas has no ground, but he is also saying that if LFP blocks it anyways, then Neymar has the option to deposite the money at a notary or give the money directly to Barca.

He even says that it will be paid to Barca directly between 4pm, and 5pm italian time by Neymar's lawyers.

So Tebas can finally feck off.

Real Madrid are okay to spend 77m on Zidane 16 years ago, 69m on Kaka 8 years ago, 94m on Ronaldo 8 years ago and 100m on Bale 4 years ago.... but their transfer dealings don't get blocked?

I don't believe the theory of some people thinking Tebas is doing that to help Barca.

I read all the articles I could since morning in spanish, French, German, and even asked an italian friend to translate all Di Marzio's statements, and most say that in the end Neymar will go to PSG by august 31 at the latest.

The only ones fecked if it happens this late are Barca because we won't have time to spend money.

Count me in the Tebas is trying to feck us up camp.

The source of the money wasn't in question then.
Who cares? Neymar does want to leave, and if you read previous page, is already starting to badmouth the club.

Let UEFA, and FIFA deal with the shaddy PSG money.

And let us do our mercato, and recruit players that will actually be happy to play for us, not like the rat.
