Neymar Jr. - v5

Javier Pastore: "I want to offer my #10 to Neymar as a welcome act & to make him to feel comfortable & happy from day 1. I want to give him all the support he needs so we can win the CL. It's a small detail, but for me it was very important to have it. Now I want to welcome him with that symbol."

This quote alone speaks volumes about PSG's culture. They will never win anything with this mentality. They're already bending over backwards to accommodate this guy and by the looks of it will put up with any and all BS that comes with him for the simply the sake of having him at their club.

"Offer".

Haha, he already admitted defeat yesterday after Messi posted his Instagram farewell post and changed his avatar. Guess you can remove that bet along with the Verratti one from your signature.

Might as well just delete all of them, lol. With Neymar leaving that effectively kills all chances of Verratti or Paulinho joining.

Of course he is getting the N0.10 strip.

Would be idiotic not to give him it.

Especially when it is on the back of a no mark player like Pastore.

I don't think our board and PSG will ever talk again whilst Barto is in office. If we draw PSG this sesaon I doubt they would even shake hands or meet

Myabe but when they'll smell our stupid board's intereset for di maria they might just do themselves a favour and accept the money for him:lol:

I get why people hate him over his move, I do too and I wish him the worst fate possible in his footballing career but it is childish to deny that he is a great player, one of the best.

To deny such simply because he left is silly and sour grape, in my opinion.

Anyway, instead of fixiating on N$ymar, an ex-player who now has nothing to do with us, let's turn the page, look forward and talk about who we should get.

They were an "okayish" team before and with Neymar they're not much better. Like I said, his teammates at Barca were much better than his teammates at PSG will be, and we also had a better manager. If he wasn't enough to propel us into European dominance, I see no way he'll do it for PSG.

As far as Alexis is concerned, he'll probably fizzle out at PSG. We knew from watching him in his time here that he can only truly shine if he's the one allowed to be the top man, a role that's obviously going to go to Neymar. Funnily enough, Neymar signing with us was one of the main reasons Alexis left.

whaaat ? Bar messi and suarez , Psg has pretty much better players in every position...You guys are overrating your own players way too much...

The way things sound the only way we would have wanted Di Maria is if he came included with Neymar+220 million.

It seems negotiations broke down at some point and we were like fuck it give us the 220 Million and go away. Gerard Romero got it wrong again on this regard.

They wouldnt have got him for less.

What I was trying to and failed to covey was that 222M price is off of our evaluation of Neymar and not his merit as a player. But you're right, they'd not have got him for less; they just wouldn't have gotten him at all.

Yes. And assisted a shitload and did a lot that is not easily reflected in mere stats.

You do realize there is a reason 222m was bid on him? And thats entirely not because of just his marketing power.

Yep but his form was bad the last half year (except for the game vs PSG). He missed A LOT in front of the goal and lost the ball A LOT.

I'm glad he's gone for 2 things:

222 mil and his attitude. I'm sad to see a big talent go.
Hope the board will buys some wc players in return. We need it.
