Yes, Malaga is better than Nice, Montpellier, Nantes, Rennes, & Bordeaux. Which is why those clubs will earn hundreds of millions selling its players next summer while remaining in their domestic first tier while Malaga will make much less and be relegated. This, of course, is because Malaga is better than these clubs.

When was the last time any of those clubs reached the CL semi-finals again!?

Let's be fair to the facts, if you insist on nitpicking; the quote states Malaga is probably better than the majority of teams in France.

In actuality, they are! The majority of teams in France are playing outside of Ligue 1, right? Lower leagues and all. We can assume Malaga is better than all of the teams outside Ligue 1 (probably also better than at least a third of the Ligue 1 teams).

Really bro, you're going to be a fucking pedant about semantics? Are you fucking kidding me?

Yeah, when i talked about the teams in France, i meant the top league (well....).
Malaga is probably better than nr.10 on the table in France, i dont think thats far-fetched at all.

Yes, because that's the argument when people are stating that Ligue 1 is shit; that Malaga is better than Lyon, Monaco and Marseille.

Wow, just wow. How about comparing apples with f*king apples for a change? Malaga is not better than those teams - Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla and probably Vilarreal on the other hand are. See the difference?

And Ligue 1 might resemble the Bundesliga (1 strong team vacuuming the league, 1 semi-strong team who can compete every two or three years, due to a model of bringing up new talents for cheap and offloading them for a huge profit, usually to the #1 vacuum-team, and 18 other relatively shitty teams) but the german league is superior in sheer numbers; viewers, stadium attendance, amount of 'star players', amount of national team players, amount of WC winners, EC winners, CL winners etc. The top in La Liga is light years ahead of the top of Ligue 1. The midtable teams of La Liga are better than the french counterparts. The bottom teams in La Liga are probably just as shit as the teams in France.

My point is, Ligue 1 is shit. Neymar is a moneygrabbing whore. PSG is the scumclub of the earth, a testament with no need of proof ever again in the future. No matter how many billions Qatar pours into PSG, they (the club) will garner attention for a very short period of time, mainly in the CL; which they won't win, and even if they do - the only reason the rich pricks in Doha wanted to win the CL, was due to the glory, honor and beauty of the game, all qualities which will be killed in the same instant that their oilrun club wins it; how about that for irony?

So why dont you, Lutece and the other PSG fanboys piss off with your soulless club and count the money of your slaveowners in the Middle East and start clearing some space in the trophy room for all the huuuuuuugely important Ligue 1 and French Cup Mickey Mouse trophies you'll win in the future - The world will give as many fucks as the amount of balls your 'coach' has.

awesome post.

any CL win they do achieve will be tainted by Qatar being behind it. I can already see it now, bunch of mercenaries complete the 'project' but theres no legacy, theres no aura about them, soulless is a perfect way to describe them, they sold out. i don't actually hate PSG as a club as Paris is like a second home to me but seeing that filthy bastard Nasser and the effect they are having on football is sickening.

Can't believe the PSG fanboys were claiming Neymar is the best in the world after a performance like this one :rofl1:. He scored a nice goal and assisted Cavani for his goal, but overall he had quite a poor match. It was a typical Neymar performance that we're all used to seeing; with him holding on to the ball too long, over complicating things, making poor passes, diving endlessly and making poor decisions in general, I mean WTF that rabona pass? He beats his defender and has all the time in the world to deliver an accurate cross to put PSG in the lead and he does that? He can't tie Messi's boots let alone be compared to him.

He is still one of the best in the world but will always stay a showboat. He will never reach the level of Ronaldinho in using his beautiful skills in an efficient way. Ronnie was the best when it comes to that.
Not even mentioning Leo because he has a different style and is way more efficient.

Of course he is still an incredible player and one of the best in the world that any team would be lucky to have, but my reply was more in response to those PSG fans that frequent this forum that were posting crap like "Neymar is the best player in the world" after yesterday's match.

messi at neymar's age had 4 ballon d'or, 3 CL, and 6 la ligas. and was already considered one of the greatest players ever. ronaldinho at neymar's age was destroying real madrid, mou's chelsea, and ancelotti's milan.

You did not watch the match. Your opinion is invalid.

Till now he play a worldclass season at Psg. But like many people here say the liga is very weak, look at players like Falcao or Balotelli. Suddenly they are starting scoring so many goals.
Neymar is now already 26years old. Ronaldo and Messi were destroying the best Ligue in the world at his age and were top scorer in the Champions League. I dont think he is able to reach their level, honestly I dont see anybody in the next years who will reach this level. The most players are too inconsistent. For example Hazard, plays one world class match, than 3 normal or bad matches. Ronaldo and Messi were playing world class in nearly every match of the season.

Neymar is better at it than Ronaldo ever was. I get a lot of red tinted glasses revisionism going on nowadays but to people who actually watched it was a shitload of stepovers followed up by losing the ball or diving.
Basically he was wannabee Dinho to get on the highlight reel till he figured out scoring goals gives you even more attention.
Neymar is sometimes efficient, but he usually does it when a team is already down to humiliate them further so they get pissed off.
Messi doesnt even do tricks, its all just clinical and directed towards moving forward, same way his nutmegs are never to humiliate just to get by.

I don't know - Brazil seem favorites to win the WC and if they did that Neymar has already achieved something that Leo & CR7 can never and his PR machine will make sure the world forgets his insconsistency and the former's consistency and longevity
